How to Get to Mergui Archipelago
1. From Thailand,
You must first get to Ranong - a border town on Pakchan River.

Transportation: Bangkok - Ranong

Bangkok-Surat Thaini by flight and Surat Thani to Ranong by car (2½ hours)

Bangkok-Phuket by flight and Phuket to Ranong by car (4 hours)

Bangkok-Phuket by Bus. The bus leaves from the bus terminal (Sai-Tai-Mai in Thai) at 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.
It takes 9 hours to get to Ranong and costs about 428 Baht per person.

There are International Direct Flights to Phuket from Sydney (Jetstar), Perth (TG), Singapore (Silk Air), Air Asia ,
Hong Kong (CathyPacific), Kula Lumpur (Malaysia Airline).
There are regular bus and mini-vans to Ranong from Phuket. In Ranong, at the jetty you can just hop on any long tail boat which will take around 43 minutes to get to Victoria Point. You just tell the boat man that you need immigration stamp and they will point you the right direction. The Burmese Immigraiton is right at the Myoma Jetty (5 minutes walk from long tail jetty). Once you are in Ranong, you can call our Thai mobile 0800-656573 (or) 0800-659932 to make arrangement.
Note: Currently there is no airline flying to Ranong. Distance between Ranong airport to Down town is 21 km.
Transportation: Bangkok - Phuket
Car :
Take Bangkok Thonburi – Pak-Tor (Highway 35) and then take Petchkasem Road (Highway 4) through to Phetchaburi Province, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Muang District of Chumphon District Kraburi, District Kaepars, District Muang of Ranong, District Curaburi, Takua Pa district, Muang District of Phang Nga Province and Takua Thung Ban Khok Loy of Phang Nga. Then cross Sarasin bridge to Phuket. Bangkok to Phuket is 862 km.
Train :
No rail service from Bangkok directly to Phuket. If you want to go by train please go to Surat railway station. (In Punpin District) And then take bus to Phuket takes about 4 hours. For more information please contact State Railway of Thailand.
Bus :
Transportation Company Limited have buses simple style and Air Conditioned. Transportation company runs buses South Station (Sai Tai mai) to Phuket daily. For details contact the private company Central Phuket Tours Phuket Tour, Bangkok - Phuket Tourism and Phuket bus terminal.
Airline :
Thai Airways International Ltd. (Public) have flights from Bangkok to Phuket, every day such as Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai Air Asia, One-Two-Go and Nok Air. Special : Now Nok Air and One-Two-Go open flights between Phuket – Hat-Yai.

From Bangkok you can go to Hua-Hin by bus 2 routes
First Route :
Route to Thonburi-Pak-Tor (Highway 35) via Samutsakhon Province and Samutsongkhram, Then turn left on to Petchkasem Road. (Highway 4) through to Phetchaburi Province into the Prachuap-Khiri-Khan Province. Total distance approximately 280 km. trip takes about 3.5 hours.
Second Route :
Route to Petchkasem Road (Highway 4) via Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom province Bugha-Monthon into Prachuap-Khiri-Khan Province. Total distance approximately 320 km. trip takes about 4 hours.

Train :
From Hua Lamphong railway station provides train line south through daily Hua Hin, Prachuap-Khiri-Khan and Pranburi local train Bangkok - Hua Hin. Departure from Bangkok to Hua Hin at 09.25 AM. Arrive at Hua-Hin 13.45 pm and Saturday - Sunday and public holidays have a procession of vehicles Pradipatts pine garden tour to a morning or evening return from Thonburi Station. The Thonburi train - Langsuan out time 07.20 AM. arrive at Hua-Hin 11.52 AM.
Airline :
Siam General Aviation Co.,Ltd. Services direct flight to Bangkok - Hua Hin daily 4 flights per day at 08.00 AM. / 11.30 AM. / 15.00 PM. And 18.30 PM. takes about 40 minutes.
2. From Yangon (Myanmar). You can fly to Kawthaung (Victoria Point). Air Bagan flies 3 times a week and less punctual Myanmar Airways has almost daily flights. Please note that the flights can be cancelled due to weather or other unpredicatable circumstances. You can also leave the country from Kawthaung-Ranong Immigration check point.
2.a. There are express boats running daily from Dawei and Myeik to Kawthaung. It takes about 9 hours from Dawei and 6 hours from Myeik to Kawthaung. Cost = 25 US$/pax.
HOW TO GET TO
ANDAMAN RESORT
Yangon to Kawthaung takes 1 hr 40 min by domestic airlines. Myanmar Immigration Check Point at Kawthaung (Victoria Point) to Andaman Resort by speed boat (40 min). One Two Go airlines also operate daily from Bangkok to Phuket and Surat Thani. It takes about 5 hours drive from Phuket to Ranong and 3 hours and 30 minutes drive from Surat Thani to Ranong by private taxi. From Yangon to Myeik (Mergui) 1 hr by domestic airlines and 14 hrs cruise from Myeik to our resort. Also by cruise or yacht from Phuket, Krabi and Hat Yai of Thailand.
